Here’s the thing…
Most parents aren’t looking for more training.
They’re looking for clarity. For trust.
For someone who sees their child as more than a position on a field.
At Where Our Children Play, we place the child at the center.
Not the scoreboard.
Not the politics.
Not the pressure.
We believe development should feel steady — not stressful.
We combine athletic training with mindset work, nutrition guidance, and honest conversation — because growth doesn’t happen in isolation.
This isn’t about building status.
It’s about building confident humans.
Whole human. Not just athlete.

WOCP began with a simple question:
Why are so many kids who love the game losing confidence in it?
As coaches, parents, and educators, we’ve seen it up close.
Talented kids sitting quietly on the bench.
Hard-working athletes doubting themselves.
Families feeling confused inside systems that prioritize results over development.
We’ve also seen what happens when a child feels heard.
When the game is explained clearly.
When growth feels steady instead of pressured.
Confidence returns.
Joy returns.
Performance follows.
That belief became WOCP, Co-Founded by Joel Franco & Chalane Miller and built alongside a team committed to developing the whole human, not just the athlete.
Kids are not projects.
They are developing people.
They need:
Clear instruction
Emotional safety
Honest feedback
Space to ask questions
Adults who listen
We teach decision-making.
We teach communication.
We teach ownership.
Because what kids actually need isn’t more pressure.
It’s growth over pressure.
Strength
We respect coaches.
We know most are doing their best inside demanding systems.
Our role isn’t to compete with clubs.
It’s to support the child between practices.
We believe:
Development takes time
Confidence affects performance
Mental clarity changes games
Communication matters
This is bigger than sport.
It’s leadership development.
